Your white blood cells help fight infection so that you do not get sick. I gave up using processed white sugar many years ago. I started using honey as a healthier substitute. However, my sister in Florida recommended using agave nectar instead of honey because it has a lower glycemic (sugar) level. I found out that processed granular sugar lowers your white blood cell count, in turn, weakening the body’s ability to fight off disease and infections.

Stay away from sugar cane, sucrose and high fructose corn syrup. You will be surprised how many food products contain high fructose corn syrup; and we wonder why so many Americans have contracted Diabetes. Diabetics suffer from poor circulation, heart conditions and eventually succumb to peripheral neuropathy which leads to kidney failure. One friend of mine just had to have her toe amputated due to her diabetic condition. I know a couple otherĀ diabetics who needed to have their big toes removed due to poor circulation. HealingĀ  is very slow for diabetics. Wounds take several months to heal. Diabetes is serious business!

Replace sugary snacks with fruit-juice-sweetened products, and processed sugar with agave nectar blue-agaveor honey. You will be healthier and you will feel healthier too.
