The rose hips are the red, circular, cherry-sized fruit (called the hips), which are revealed  after the velvety petals of the rose have fallen off. The rose is the queen of all flowers. The rose and rose hips are members of the roseceae family. Other well-known members of this family are the rasberry, plum, blackberry, peach and almond. The exact amount of vitamin C contained in rose hipsrosehips_1 is unknown. Herbalists  recommend  consuming rose hips as a tea. It is also a mild laxative.
